Marble Note Holder

This came out really cool! I was originally trying to create a baked marble effect. (a sort of cracked glass look) Apparently it is not noticeable in black marbles. Which make perfect sense in hindsight (as most things do!)

Finished with wipe on poly, the oak and mulberry seem to go well together!

 Regardless, the project looks cool and it is functional. I also like that I can unscrew the acrylic and replace the marbles anytime I want. So that gives this idea some modularity to is too boot!

Now I just need to find the 3 or 4 marbles that fell to the shop floor before I locate them in a Looney Toons like fashion….
